Samsung is rumored to unveil two new hot Galaxy phones in mid-August: The Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge Plus. Both phablets have appeared in numerous leaks so far, and two new reports give us images that supposedly show the design of the handsets.

Czech website Samsung Mania posted a picture that supposedly shows a Galaxy Note 5 prototype. As you can see in the image below, the Galaxy Note 5 doesn’t look anything like what you’d expect it to be – an inflated Galaxy S6 – but that’s probably because the purported prototype is encased in a special enclosure meant to keep it a secret.

Meanwhile, All About Samsung scored pictures that show a dummy Galaxy S6 edge Plus unit placed next to last year’s Galaxy Note 4 phablet. As you can see from the following pictures, the Galaxy S6 edge Plus might be about as big as Samsung’s former flagship handset.
Samsung’s new Galaxy phablets should hit stores in certain markets starting on August 21st, a recent report said. The company is apparently interested in beating Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6s Plus to market, which is why the Galaxy Note 5 launch has been pushed forward. So far, Samsung had launched all previous Galaxy Note models in early September at the German IFA trade show.
