The Nexus 6 was finally unveiled on Wednesday and it marks several firsts for Google. It’s the first time the company will launch a Nexus phablet, the first time Motorola designed a Nexus phone, the first time a Nexus handset will feature bleeding-edge specs, and the first time every top U.S. wireless carrier will sell a Nexus phone. To help Android fans celebrate all of those firsts, we’ve dug up the world’s first Nexus 6 unboxing video for your viewing pleasure.

FROM EARLIER: 10 secret things you had no idea your Android phone could do

Even if you’re not interested in buying one yourself, there is absolutely no question that the Nexus 6 is a monster smartphone. The Motorola-built phablet features a 6-inch quad-HD display, a 2.7GHz quad-core processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f2.0 lens, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, dual front-facing stereo speakers, a huge 3,220 mAh battery, 32GB or 64GB of storage and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Nexus 6 also sports a very sleek design that’s reminiscent of the beautiful new Moto X, though it doesn’t have all of the great personalization features that Motorola’s own flagship phone has.

There is indeed plenty to be excited about with the Nexus 6, and T-Mobile is apparently so excited about launching the phone next month that one of its tech evangelists posted a quick unboxing video on Twitter. The video also shows the phone powered on after it’s unboxed, though there really isn’t any new information that can be gleaned.

The brief Vine video is embedded below and Google’s new Nexus 6 will launch sometime next month.
