After months upon months of rumors and leaks, Apple’s upcoming new iPhone 6 will finally be unveiled at a press conference on September 9th. And it’s a good thing, too — anticipation for Apple’s new iPhone models has boiled over and it’s now making people completely crazy.

How crazy is it making people, you might ask? So crazy that they are spending time analyzing Apple’s media invitation for its upcoming press conference in an effort to dig for clues. People do this every year, of course, but this year Apple fans have gone completely overboard and are just making up ridiculous things in an effort to drum up some buzz.

Here’s the invitation:

Look at it again. Look closer. Do you see that? Did you catch it?

That’s right… nothing. It’s the top portion of Apple’s logo, a date, and a note that reveals nothing at all.

People are so crazy over the iPhone 6 right now, however, that they’re making up all sorts of nonsense. As noted in a post on CNET, people are flipping the digit “9” in the date to find a 6 for “iPhone 6,” doing crazy math (9+9 – 2 + 14 = 30, which is the number of years since the Mac unveiling at the Flint Center in 1984), and suggesting that the word “wish” is similar to “watch,” so the iWatch is on the way.

For more on the crazy things people are pretending to find in the invitation, follow the link down in the source section.
