Following the large number of 4.7-inch iPhone 6 dummy unit photos that have flooded the web, a similar image showing the bigger 5.5-inch model has surfaced. Insider Sonny Dickson, who published images of unreleased Apple devices before their launch last year, has now posted new images on Twitter showing the two iPhone 6 models side by side.
Unsurprisingly, the bigger iPhone 6 dummy unit appears to feature the same design lines as the smaller 4.7-inch version.
The iPhone 6 phablet has the power button relocated to the right side and slimmer volume rockers. On the back, the 5.5-inch model has the same camera and antenna design as the 4.7-inch model, including a new camera flash design, while on the front side the only thing different is a new hole next to the FaceTime camera.
Dickson recently posted a large image gallery featuring a comparison between a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 dummy unit and all previous iPhone models. Just like with previous leaks, the handsets shown in these newly shared images are just dummy iPhone 6 units. The devices do not work, and they don’t even have any Apple branding.
Apple is expected to unveil two bigger iPhones later this year, likely this fall, in line with previous iPhone launches.
