When it comes to the cameras on Apple’s various iPhone models, two things are consistently true. First, the camera quality is better than just about every other smartphone on the market. Second, the camera software is barren and boring compared to just about any other smartphone on the market. Of course, that’s where third-party apps come into play.
There are plenty of great third-party camera apps out there to help enhance the camera on Apple’s iPhone lineup. The better options are typically paid apps, so it’s always nice when one of them drops to free for a limited time.
One such app is ProCam 2 by Samer Azzam.
Azzam’s newer ProCam app picks up where the original left off, but it dramatically simplifies the user interface. Despite being simplified, however, it still packs in tons of great features.
