Smartphone enthusiasts who don’t use Apple products and make it their business to chastise iPhone users online at every opportunity often tell Apple fans that they “drink the Kool-Aid,” or have an unquestioning and irrational loyalty to Apple. iPhone users argue that there are other reasons they have chosen Apple’s handset as their smartphone of choice, and the whole argument has gotten rather boring. Kool-Aid isn’t always bad though, and a nifty new jailbreak tweak for iOS 7 borrows various bright Kool-Aid colors to spice up Apple’s iOS 7 software.
Dubbed Fancy, this tiny tweak is available in the Cydia app store only to users with a jailbroken iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, fifth-generation iPod touch, fourth-generation iPad or iPad mini. Put simply, Fancy allows you to change the color of Apple’s iOS 7 user interface to any color you want, thus altering the entire look of the operating system and adding a personal touch that other iOS device users might be envious of.
Fancy is available in the ModMyi Cydia repository for $0.99. Another pair of screenshots showing Fancy at work on the iOS 7 interface follows below.
