Hoping to keep interest levels up before its big January 30th launch, Research In Motion (RIMM) has started to tease its own “laptop-killing” BlackBerry 10-powered smartphone on its official website. Although early leaks on the “London” suggest RIM will go for an aesthetic that resembles a mini PlayBook, the company’s teaser image suggests otherwise. As N4BB notes, the rear sports a textured “meshed-leather-look” that should give the phone a comfortable grip. If you ask us, from the looks of it, the back of the device is actually more reminiscent of Google (GOOG) and ASUS’s (2357) Nexus 7 tablet, which feels excellent. Aside from the teaser, RIM didn’t provide any new information on the “Re-designed. Re-engineered. Re-invented” BlackBerry experience.
