BGR reviewed Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 phablet last month and while the handset’s monstrous size is still off-putting to some, we still called it the best smartphone Samsung has ever made. The Galaxy Note 3 provides the first real evidence that Samsung is making an effort to combat its feature spam problem, and it provides truly useful functionality that other smartphones simply don’t have. Even a month later, we still couldn’t put the phone down. Does Samsung’s latest phablet live up to the hype? Now, you don’t have to buy one to find out.
Samsung recently released an Android app dubbed “Galaxy Note 3 Experience” that aims to provide just that. The app can be installed on any modern Android smartphone — though Samsung recommends that the device include at least a 1.4GHz processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 1080p HD resolution — and it provides interactive tours of a number of stand-out Note 3 features. Users will get a feel for the S Pen stylus and associated functions such as Air Command and Action Memo, and the app also includes hands-on videos of the Note 3 in action.
There’s nothing quite like testing out a phone yourself, of course, but Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 Experience app is likely the next best thing and it’s available now in the Google Play app store. A direct link to the app can be found below in our source section.
