Up until now, unless you were part of the Steve Jobs inner circle, or the proud winner of a contest or two, there wasn’t a chance that you could pick up a new iPhone for anything less than the $499/$599 purchase price. Not any longer. The talking heads over at AT&T, possibly embarrassed by Apple’s generosity towards their own employees, have decided to offer a massive discount to the tune of….10%.
