Most Korean-manufactured cars come with some of the most extensive warranties on the face of the planet, which either means that the car will never break, making it a safe investment on the company’s part, or the car will break so often that they have no choice. Following in the footsteps of Kia and Hyundai, LG has just announced plans to give away free insurance with the next 60,000 Prada handsets sold. Insane? We think so. This is pretty comprehensive coverage, protecting you against accidental damage, mechanical failure, and even owner inflicted damage. Yikes. There is one small problem though. The $215 of compensation you get from the insurance isn’t enough to get you a new Prada, but it should reward your stupidity enough to stop you from learning a lesson. Isn’t that what life’s all about?
