It looks like Apple might not be the only smartphone maker preparing to launch a smartphone with an embedded fingerprint scanner. A leaked photo published on Monday by an ePrice forum member claims to show the HTC One Max lined up next to HTC’s One and One mini. In line with earlier reports, the One Max indeed appears to look just like the current One models but much, much larger. What hadn’t previously been rumored, however is the apparent presence of an embedded fingerprint scanner just beneath the camera on the back of the phone. Apple’s iPhone 5S is expected to debut on September 10th with a fingerprint scanner and if this leaked photo pans out, it looks like that potentially great new feature won’t be unique for very long. The leaked photo follows below.
