Forget everything you thought you knew about foods to eat while enjoying a sporting event. An Australian kid conquered the Internet this weekend with his watermelon stunt. Not only did he decide to eat healthy while enjoying a game of cricket between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars, but he gobbled up the entire thing. Even the green skin!
He became an instant viral sensation, grabbing the attention of those around him, but also of the game’s broadcasters who kept returning to see his progress with the giant watermelon.

Mitch Schibeci is the name of the kid who pulled off the strange stunt, Forbes says, son of Australian radio host Tony Schibeci. And yes, it might all be a publicity stunt. After all, Mitch did find time to tweet out a selfie with his healthy eating habits. But it’s still an amazing one nonetheless. Mitch even has an appropriate Twitter handle that suggest this might not be the first watermelon meal at a stadium – he’s @watermelonboyau on Twitter.
