We can’t remember the last time people were this excited about a Microsoft software release. It might have been ahead of the original Windows Phone launch, and we all know how that turned out. With Windows 10, however, Microsoft will look to actually deliver on the hype and apologize to the world for the disaster that was Windows 8.

If you’re readying a return to Windows later this year when Microsoft finally releases Windows 10, you can now get the world’s hottest Windows laptop-tablet hybrid for a big discount.

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 is truly an amazing device. It’s not the specs or even the remarkable design that are truly mind-blowing. Instead, it’s the mere fact that Microsoft burst onto the scene and in a few short years, it managed to design and launch Windows hardware that is far more impressive than anything Windows OEMs have ever produced.

A sad state of affairs for PC vendors, indeed.

Microsoft’s hardware partners have definitely turned up the heat over the past 12 months, though. Even still, the Surface Pro 3 remains the hottest portable Windows computer money can buy — and now you’ll need significantly less money to buy it.

As ZDNet points out, Microsoft has slashed the price of its two top Surface Pro 3 models. The 128GB Surface Pro 3 with an Intel Core i3 processor now starts at $899, $100 off the already discounted price. Bump that up to the 256GB or 512GB Core i5 model and the discount jumps to $150.

You’ll also get a free sleeve with any Surface Pro 3 purchase if you place your order by April 5th.

A link to the Surface Pro 3 page on Microsoft’s online store can be found below in our source section, and there’s no word on when (or if) this deal will end.
