It’s been a long three months since we scooped the Motorola Atila, the touchscreen-only counterpart to the Motorola Alexander. Since August, updates on this tri-band UMTS/HSDPA phone have been non-existent. As is the standard in pre-production lifespans, live images of the handset have now emerged proving that the Atila does exist and that Motorola still has this phone under development. Nice custom theme, eh? Just as a refresher, the Atila has the following specs:
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Tri-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850MHz/1900MHz/2100MHz)
- 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 1.8Mbps HSUPA
- 1130mAh battery
- 2.8″ QVGA 240 x 320 screen
- Wi-Fi b/g
- Qualcomm 7201A chipset
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
The specs on the phone are decent, though we do agree that the screen could use an upgrade. A full VGA screen like the Touch Diamond would be nice or even the 240×400 screen of the Omnia would be a bit better. Hit the jump for another photo showing the more traditional Windows Mobile interface.
