In May, The Wall Street Journal reported that Google (GOOG) would be opening its Nexus program up to as many as five manufacturers for a complete smartphone and tablet portfolio to be available in late November, with additional rumors suggesting that Sony, LG, and Samsung would all be manufacturing Nexus-branded devices. We have already seen LG’s (06657011) offering in a variety of leaked images and have also seen an alleged spec sheet for the Galaxy Nexus II. And now alleged images belonging to Sony’s (SNE) Nexus X smartphone were uploaded to Picasa on Sunday that show on-screen navigation keys and an unskinned version of Android. It has been reported that Google will announce its latest Nexus smartphones on October 29th. An additional image follows below.

UPDATE: The photos have been revealed as fakes.
