How much thinner can smartphones get? The iPhone 6 is 6.9 millimeters and the Galaxy S6 is 6.8 millimeters, but it looks like Samsung is taking things to a whole new level with a new device called the Galaxy A8. Nowhereelse.fr has posted some leaked pictures of the Galaxy A8 that show an extremely thin device that leaked specifications claim is just 5.9 millimeters thin, or a full millimeter thinner than the iPhone 6.

DON’T MISS: A real Jurassic World park would cost $23.43B to build, $11.9B a year to maintain

This is particularly impressive because the device has a 5.7-inch display, which is larger than the display of the iPhone 6 Plus. That said, we’d be worried about a device this big and this thin being prone to some of the same bending issues that plagued the iPhone 6 Plus.

Other specs for the device include an S615 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 3,050mAh battery and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. We don’t yet know the pricing or release date information for this phone, although it’s sadly likely that this device won’t ever release in the U.S. and is only intended for Asian markets.

We’ve posted a couple pictures of the Galaxy A8 below but to see the whole gallery you should really head over to Nowherelse.fr.
