Surveys showing iPad users as the most satisfied of all tablet users have become so routine that they’re barely worth writing about. But when a new survey from J.D. Power shows that the iPad has lost its customer satisfaction crown to Samsung, that’s a pretty big deal. According to J.D. Power’s latest survey of American tablet owners, Samsung tablet users rate their experience with their slates slightly higher than iPad users. In explaining the surge in Samsung satisfaction, J.D. Power comments that Samsung “is the only manufacturer to improve across all five factors since the previous reporting period” while also noting that the company “showed particularly strong improvement in the cost factor.” The good news for the iPad, however, is that it’s not far behind in overall satisfaction and still leads Samsung tablets for both performance and ease of use.
America’s favorite tablet brand is… Samsung?
