Pebble’s newest smartwatch shown in leaked pictures

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for wearable computers so it only makes sense that Pebble plans to start it off by releasing a new version of its signature smartwatch. 9to5Google has posted some leaked pictures showing the Pebble Steel, the newest Pebble smartwatch that features a metal build that’s an aesthetic upgrade over the first generation’s plastic build. 9to5Google says that the Pebble Steel will have the same internal hardware as the original Pebble but will be made from a sturdier metal and will have a display made from Corning Gorilla Glass. The improved build comes at a cost, however, as 9to5Google hears that it will sell for around $100 more than the first-gen Pebble.
