Apple (AAPL) on Thursday rolled out its first software update for OS X Mountain Lion, OS X 10.8.1. The update includes general bug fixes and resolves previous issues with Migration Assistant, compatibility issues with Microsoft’s (MSFT) Exchange servers and a bug that would prevent iMessages from being sent. There is also a fix for Safari, along with an audio playback issue affecting Thunderbolt displays. Apple also seeded OS X 10.8.2 to developers on Thursday and asked them to focus on Messages, Facebook (FB) integration, Game Center, Safari and Reminders. The OS X 10.8.1 update is available now in the Mac App Store.
