Earlier this month, LG (06657011) announced that its smartphone-tablet hybrid, the Optimus Vu, would be arriving in the U.S at the end of September. According to Droid-Life, the device will be launching on Verizon’s 4G LTE network as the LG Intuition for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement. The Optimus Vu was unveiled earlier this year at Mobile World Congress sporting a massive 5-inch display and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. While the device hasn’t matched the success of the Galaxy Note, LG revealed the phablet has sold more than 500,000 units since March. The Intuition will face tough competition on Verizon’s (VZ) network from the Galaxy S III, the upcoming iPhone and HTC’s rumored 5-inch smartphone.
