Shell from completely redesigned iPad 5 leaks in silver for the first time

We’re definitely getting closer to Apple’s upcoming string of product launches because we’re getting a steady stream of leaked pictures for the company’s next generation of gadgets. A Weibo user named Xu Bolong has just published some photos of the rear shell from Apple’s fifth-generation iPad that once again confirm that the next version of the larger iPad will take design cues from its smaller sibling by employing thinner side bezels. This is the first time the device’s casing has been pictured in silver. The next-generation iPad shell is shown next to the shell of some version of the iPad mini, although French blog Nowhereelse.fr cautions that this could simply be a first-generation iPad mini shell that’s being used to show off design similarities between the two tablets. The pictures of the fifth-generation iPad case follow below.
