Microsoft (MSFT) hasn’t set a firm release date for Office 2013 yet, but that doesn’t mean it can’t talk about pricing. According to ZDNet, subscription versions of Office 2013 will cost $100 per year for Office 365 Home Premium and $150 per year for Office 365 Small Business Premium. Office 365 includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access and can be installed on up to five computers. Office 365 Small Business Premium has everything Home Premium has plus Lync and InfoPath.
Users who prefer boxed retail versions of Office 2013 can choose from three different versions: Office Home & Student ($140), Office Home & Business ($220) and Office Professional ($400). Whereas Office Home & Student includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote, Office Home & Business adds Outlook and Office Professional adds Publisher and Access.
As an incentive to skip the boxed version for the subscription, Office 365 Home Premium users will get 60 free Skype minutes per month and 20GB of SkyDrive storage, and Office 365 Small Business Premium users will get hosted Exchange with 25GB of mail and shared calendar storage as well as 10GB of SharePoint storage. Free HD video conferencing and screen sharing is also included in the latter deal.
