As with any new iPhone, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have been exceedingly difficult to find since launch day. But if you’ve been patiently waiting for your local Apple Store to receive a new shipment, it might be time to check back in. Business Insider’s Nicholas Carlson reports that just a couple of weeks ago, an AT&T store employee actually laughed when he asked if he could buy an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. She said that the store hadn’t seen a single shipment since the launch of the new devices nearly a month prior to Carlson’s visit.
Plenty of consumers have been unable to get their hands on Apple’s latest flagship phone, but reports have indicated that the Cupertino juggernaut is doing everything in its power to meet demand. Late last month, Digitimes suggested that Apple would be raising its payments to Foxconn in order to encourage the manufacturer to produce phones more quickly.
