The iPad is the world’s most popular tablet and it’s only going to get more popular next year. Per AppleInsider, Canaccord Genuity analyst Michael Walkley has projected that Apple (AAPL) will sell 102 million iPads next year, aided in part by the smaller, less expensive iPad mini. To put this in perspective, consider that it took Apple two-and-a-half years to sell 100 million iPads of all models, meaning that Apple could effectively double its iPad sales over the span of a year. In addition to his iPad projection, Walkley also projected that Apple will sell 194 million iPhones in 2013.
