Purported images of a model based on Apple’s (AAPL) upcoming iPad mini tablet were published by a Chinese blog on Tuesday, possibly revealing the finished design of Apple’s upcoming tablet for the first time. French Apple blog Nowhereelse.fr picked up the images on Tuesday morning, which were originally published by DGtle. The photos reportedly depict a model of the iPad mini that was likely made from leaked specifications and intended to help a third-party case manufacturer build and test protective cases for the upcoming smaller iPad. Apple is expected to unveil the iPad mini at a press conference in October. Additional photos follow below.
