Apple on Monday will unveil its next software plans for the iPhone, Mac and Watch, as well as its new music streaming service, though many reports have already likely exposed many of the new features from iOS 9 and OS X 10.11. However, Apple appears to have just confirmed one major change coming to its operating systems in a somewhat sneaky way.
DON’T MISS: Apple WWDC cheat sheet: The major annoucements
The company gave WWDC attendants special jackets that come with a neat easter egg that seemingly reveals a new iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 feature. As 9to5Mac reports, Apple has used the San Francisco font for the jacket lettering, suggesting that the Apple Watch font is indeed going to play a central role in Apple design, just as recently rumored.
The tech blog said earlier that the San Francisco font is heading to iOS 9 and OS X 10.11, replacing Helvetica Neue.
In addition to jacket lettering, Apple has apparently used the same font on WWDC badges. Furthermore, to point out the fact that the jackets have been made in the U.S, Apple used a Swift-related joke to write the labels (see below).
