If there’s one big thing that Android users envy about iOS users, it’s the speed at which Apple (AAPL) fans get their devices updated. Per TechCrunch, the latest numbers from web content creation company Onswipe show that the adoption rate of iOS 6.1 had already hit over 22% just three days after its release. Onswipe CEO Jason Baptiste told TechCrunch that the iOS 6.1 adoption rate is on track to be the fastest ever and will likely surpass the iOS 6 first-week adoption rate of 45%. The reason for this, he said, is that iOS users have gotten much more comfortable with Apple’s over-the-air update process and are now moving to upgrade their devices the minute a new version of iOS comes out.
