Frequent fliers not happy with their current carry-on luggage solutions should check out Bluesmart, a new piece of connected luggage that’s supposed to make traveling a lot easier. Bluesmart has smashed through its original $50,000 goal on Indiegogo in just a few days, hitting nearly $400,000 with more than a month left in the campaign.
In addition to having enough room for the various things you need to take with you on your next trip, the Bluesmart carry-on suitcase includes additional features such as a smartphone-controlled digital lock, a location-tracking app, a built-in battery compatible for charging smartphones and tablets, a built-in scale, proximity notification alerts to prevent you from forgetting it, and an easily accessible compartment for electronic devices that have to be removed from bags during security checks at the airport.
The Bluesmart will cost at least $450 when it launches, but it can be purchased for just $235 on Indiegogo right now. The first units should start shipping next August.
A video explaining Bluesmart’s features follows below, with more details about it available at the source link.
