How to Download iOS 9.1 Beta 5

Although the release notes we got our hands on for the recently released iOS 9.1 beta 5 weren’t especially interesting, the latest beta includes a few new features and additions that iPhone users are going to want to get their hands on.

The biggest change in the latest beta is the inclusion of dozens of new emojis, perhaps most notably the middle finger emoji that is sure to appear in countless text messages from your friends once iOS 9.1 rolls out to the public.

Apple has also updated the collection of standard wallpapers included on iOS in the new beta. If you liked the planetary wallpaper on the iPad Pro during Apple’s media event last month, you’ll be able to apply that background to your phone soon.

Beyond those visual changes, Apple has also opened up the Live Photos API in beta 5 so that developers can utilize Live Photos in their third-party apps. You can also disable those pictures that started appearing beside your contacts in the Messages app when you updated to iOS 9. Finally, the update adds support for the iPad Pro and fourth-gen Apple TV.

If you want to see all of these updates in action, be sure to watch the video from iCrackUriDevice below. There are also instructions for how to install iOS 9.1 beta 5 even if you don’t have a developer account:
