Google’s Play Store is getting gift cards, wish lists

Google (GOOG) on Thursday released an update for its Play Store, bumping it up to version 3.8.15. After noticing the updated file was slightly bigger than before, Android Police decided to compare the new store with an older version. While it was only 300 kilobytes larger, the website discovered strong evidence that Google was making significant changes to the way users can purchase content for their Android device. The Internet giant seems to be readying Google Play gift cards, along with granting users the ability to create a wish list for desired apps, games, movies, TV shows, magazines and books. Shortly after the initial report, Android Central received further evidence of Google’s future plans — a picture the cards themselves. A look at Google’s upcoming gift cards follows below.
