If you happen to love Google Now and spend plenty of time on your smartphone texting, you should know that Google is rolling out a brand new feature that will let you send messages to friends using other Android apps than Google’s Hangouts.

The feature, initially available in English only, will let you connect your Google account to various third-party apps including WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat, Telegram and NextPlus, to let you send messages using your voice. Just make sure you have the latest versions of all these apps installed on your Android device for it to work.

You’ll be able to issue commands such as “Ok Google, send a WhatsApp message to Joe,” after which you’ll get a prompt to dictate your message. You can even eliminate a step by saying something like: “Ok Google, send a Viber message to Josh: let’s do dinner tomorrow night.”

In the future, Google will add support for more languages and more apps.

This is just the latest Google Now feature that focuses on integration with other Android apps. The service also connects with other apps, displaying cards and letting users issue commands for certain apps, such as “Ok Google, Shazam this song” or “Ok Google, Show me apartments for rent near me on Zillow.”
