Print might not be dead, but it’s definitely fighting for its life, as evidenced by the latest Google ad revenue numbers. According to Business Insider’s Henry Blodget, Google’s yearly ad revenue has now overtaken both the newspaper and magazine industries, and threatens to keep widening the gap as print media slides further into obscurity. If Google’s growth stays on its current trajectory, it should surpass the 2007 peak of the magazine industry’s ad revenue within the next few years.
