Samsung blog SamMobile says it has received exclusive information about the SM-G928, which is known as Project Zero 2 internally. The final name of the handset is yet to be revealed, although previous reports referred to it as the Galaxy S6 edge Plus or the Galaxy S6 Plus.
Apparently, the SM-G928 will have a 5.4-inch or 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with two curved edges like the existing S6 esge. The device is 151mm tall and 73mm wide, or 9mm taller and 3mm wider than the Galaxy S6 edge. These measurements seem to indicate that the new model will indeed have a slightly bigger screen.
Other features include a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 32GB of internal storage space, 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device will also house a larger 3,000 mAh battery.
It’s not clear when Samsung will begin selling the device, but the company might unveil it in the coming weeks.
