One of the obvious concerns with the Galaxy S6 edge is related to the phone’s curved display, which might not handle some drops as gracefully as smartphones that come with regular, flat screens. However, a short video from China shows an extreme Galaxy S6 edge torture test that reveals how shockingly durable the Gorilla Glass 4 on the Galaxy S6 edge really is.

In the 30-second clip below, a woman handling the curved Galaxy S6 model repeatedly and violently smashes the Galaxy S6 edge against a hard surface. Not only is the Galaxy S6 edge capable of taking the beating, but the phone is also fully functional after the torture test is over.
The video seems to indicate that both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge could handle accidental drops without showing any damage, though more extensive tests will probably be made once the phones will be available to customers.
Unlike in previous years, Samsung took a different design approach when it comes to build quality with the Galaxy S6 models. Both devices have metal and glass bodies along with hardened displays, which are apparently able to survive a very aggressive impact.
