All devices have their flaws that can annoy buyers, whether they’re related to their hardware or software, and the amazingly good-looking Galaxy S6 edge is no exception.

Some issues have already been reported with the Galaxy S6 devices so far, including screen problems, RAM performance inconsistencies, and accelerometer troubles.
On top of them, SamMobile has discovered one other problem with the curved handset’s display, which appears to have some very strange symptoms. Apparently, from time to time the screen of the handset can enter an “8-bit color mode of sorts” which is yet to be explained.
“Basically, everything on the screen starts looking like a watercolor painting,” the publication notes. “It has only happened twice in around two weeks, and I’m not sure if it’s something that has affected other users’ devices as well.”
The only available fix for the screen’s color issue is to reboot the device. The problem doesn’t seem to affect the phone’s performance. SamMobile notes the Galaxy S6 edge still operates normally, even though the screen’s colors might be off.
Samsung has yet to acknowledge any issues with the Galaxy S6 edge’s display, and problem is far from being turned into an “8-bit-gate” scandal. Maybe Samsung just forgot to “weld with waves” and “ultrasonically” fuse some components on affected Galaxy S6 edge units.
