In the U.K., Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge preorders are already available from Samsung, as well as local carriers and electronics retailers. But U.S. customers will have to wait a while longer before being able to purchase one of the hot new Galaxy S models. However, the two phones might soon start selling in the U.S., one Redditor revealed, with Best Buy apparently preparing a surprise for buyers interested in the phones.

MASSIVE SALE: Download over $100 worth of paid Android apps for free right now from Amazon

“I was in Best Buy today and a guy at the Samsung desk told me he had been to a Samsung event the previous weekend where he spent some time with the new devices,” Reddit user pearbobber said on Thursday. “He said both would be in the store on 3/27, that they’d be taking pre-orders for 4/10 launch on AT&T, Verizon & Sprint at that time starting 3/27. Also, pre-orders would come with ‘a free device’.”

Revealing more details about the “free device,” user dhern19, who identified himself or herself as a Samsung employee, said that Best Buy will offer everyone who’s buying a Galaxy S6 model from Best Buy a free wireless charger that would otherwise retail for $49.99.

The user further added that Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge units sold by carriers won’t come with free wireless chargers.

Neither Samsung nor its American carrier partners have officially announced launch details for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.
