AT&T announced on Monday that the highly anticipated Galaxy S III smartphone will finally become available beginning July 6th for $199.99, one full month after preorders began. AT&T product manager Kari Tillman confirmed the new launch date in a post on AT&T’s corporate blog, noting that “thousands” of customers have preordered Samsung’s smartphone at this point. The launch of the new flagship Android smartphone has seen a number of delays across several U.S. carriers, and AT&T’s version of the Galaxy S III was supposed to launch by June 21st. Tillman also noted that new online orders can be placed with overnight shipping beginning on July 6th as well.
