This seems a bit, well, over the top, doesn’t it? The first known Facebook application auction is currently underway. Logbook, an application written by Michael Zhang, is designed to allow users to “to document movies, music, books, and more.” It’s no Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, but we’re sure there’s potential for someone to derive some level of pleasure from it. It’s currently up on eBay, as of this writing, for roughly $255. With 6 days left on the auction counter, it looks like this could turn into a rather heated race for the prize. Could this be the beginning of a new trend? Personally, we think this is a bit of a dead end, as once the application leaves the hands of the developer it’s essentially rendered DOA. No updates, bug fixes, or anything. Doneski.
