Dell might be pinching pennies this season in an effort to avoid layoffs but that doesn’t mean the Texas-based PC giant can’t do a little something special for its employees, right? Dell is currently running a 2-day event for employees dubbed the “Holiday Savings Fair”, packed full of deals and chances to win a variety of special prizes. Among the prizes up for grabs just for visiting the fair site are a $6,000 3-night resort package and a $500 HP gift card. Dig a bit deeper and you’ll find a “Spin to Win” game with prizes like another $6,000 resort package or a variety of other prizes from the likes of Clinique, HP and Linovo. Of course the Savings Fair isn’t all fun and games – there are a bunch of exclusive deals from Dell partners available through the site such as 25% off Samsonite luggage or an AT&T BlackBerry Bold for $150 shipped. Sure, Dellians, HQ might have replaced your 10% – 15% employee discount with a gift card for HP but this totally makes up for it, right? If you’re an employee who missed the memo due to, say, unpaid leave or something, hit the e-Deals@Dell site and get your shopping on. Everyone else, hit the jump for the internal email that went out to employees (click on the image to enlarge).
