Even though they get plenty of attention from the press, the newest Android flagships aren’t necessary the best choices for many smartphone buyers, especially for Android fans looking for affordable high-end devices. The Asus ZenFone 2 is one alternative, a cheap Android phone that packs 4GB of RAM and costs just $299 in the U.S. However, there are plenty of other premium Android phones overseas that meet the same criteria: They’re powerful and significantly cheaper than the Galaxy S6, Nexus 6, HTC One M9 or LG G4. The P8000 is a brand new smartphone coming from Chinese handset maker Elephone. The device features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.5GHz Mediatek MT6753 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, worldwide LTE support, a rear fingerprint scanner, a 4,200 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The device should cost around $210 when it launches later this year, according to Neowin.
The K80 is the second high-end Android smartphone that you can’t really buy unless you go to China, but this one is made by Lenovo, a company you might be more familiar with.
The device comes in two versions when it comes to built-in RAM, including 2GB and 4GB RAM options, retailing for around $242 and $290, respectively, Phone Arena reports.
The Lenovo K80 has a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, a 1.8GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel SoC, 2G or 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage, microSD support, a 13-megapixel camera with OIS, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 4,000 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
