When it comes to high-end and mid-range phones this year, BlackBerry has mostly focused on releasing devices with full QWERTY keyboards such as the BlackBerry Passport and the BlackBerry Classic. That doesn’t mean BlackBerry has given up on touchscreen-only devices, however, because N4BB has just posted some leaked pictures of a device called the BlackBerry Z20 that will be BlackBerry’s first major touchscreen-only device since the BlackBerry Z30 phablet the company released in 2013.

As you can see, the device appears to be a successor of sorts to the BlackBerry Z10 and Z30. N4BB says the device shows mid-range specs that include a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, an MSM 8960 dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, a 2800 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

These specs aren’t close to the beastly specs you get with the BlackBerry Passport, of course, and BlackBerry is apparently planning to position the device as ideal for “Power Pros who want to be considered by others as being current with technology, yet cost is a major consideration in their purchase decision.”
