As we’ve noted before, the BlackBerry Passport isn’t for the faint of heart — it’s a manly tool to be used for real work, and if its large square display and wide boxy frame intimidate you, then tough! BlackBerry this month put up a new video that once again shows the advantage of having a large square display like the one on the Passport gives you the ability to get more real work done, especially when compared to a svelte little display like the one on your iPhone.

The video depicts two people getting off an airplane and looking up directions to a certain location in Long Island City. One man, an iPhone owner, struggles to get a good look at the full map because his display is just too puny to be adequate for the job. The man standing next to him, however, has a big BlackBerry Passport that’s capable to showing the entire map on its display without having to zoom out or turn the phone to landscape mode.

“With an expansive square screen and an innovative touch-enabled keyboard, anyway you look at it, it’s better to work wide,” says the ad’s narrator.
