2014’s best Halloween costume: A huge MechWarrior suit one dad built for his 6-month-old kid

Most Halloween costumes for very young children aren’t all that ambitious, especially when they’re not old enough to actually walk around for trick-or-treating. However, newly minted father Ryan Bowen has gone where most parents won’t and has built an awesome and elaborate Halloween costume for his 6-month-old son.

As you’ll see in the video below, Bowen built an enormous suit based on the robot Sunder from the MechWarrior video game series. Bowen himself is actually inside the suit itself while his son is perched up on a seat in the robot’s torso so it looks like he’s actually piloting the gigantic machine all by himself.
