Apple and Samsung are poised for yet another patent showdown in March, but before the battle resumes, the two CEOs are going to meet once more to try to hash things out outside of the courtroom. Reuters reports that Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon will attend a mediation session with in-house lawyers “on or before February 19” in order to “discuss settlement opportunities.” Apple has been the clear victor over the course of this drawn out patent dispute, winning around $930 million over the last two years, but the litigation has been a drain on both companies. Hopefully Cook and Kwon will find some middle ground next month and end this extensive monetary sinkhole.
