Apple Insider, ever the purveyors of reliable Apple intel, has made a bold statement. An Apple announcement will take place during the end of October, any time between the 22nd and the 27th of the month. What might Apple be gearing up to reveal? Leopard, of course. The company stated a while ago that October was the month that their next big cat would see the light of day, and it looks like they intend to make good on that promise. The interesting thing is that, as of today, Leopard source code was still up for revision, and no Gold Master had been declared. Even so, rumors are building towards an October 26th ship date. As with any rumor, we’ll believe it when we see it, but all signs point to this as a viable bit of information. Let the Leopard mania begin!
