A new Lollipop version is available to Nexus device owners, as Google is rolling out Android 5.0.1, an update that’s compatible with various devices, including the Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (all versions) and the Nexus 10. Additionally, the Motorola Moto G Google Play edition is also being upgraded to Android 5.0.1 right away.

The update can be downloaded over-the-air (OTA) and installed on devices, though users can also make the jump to the latest Android OS version manually by flashing the appropriate ROM to their devices — Android Police has put up a large collection of links to the various Android 5.0.1 builds available for the aforementioned devices (check out the source section below).
Google released Android 5.0 Lollipop last month, alongside new Nexus hardware, including the Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet. Lollipop is a major upgrade for Google’s mobile operating system, bringing users a brand new design language, as well as several interesting features. Android 5.0.1 is supposed to fix various issues, including a rare factory reset bug and a video playback problem for certain devices.
