As though Apple (AAPL) wasn’t busy enough with the upcoming launches of its sixth-generation iPhone and the iPad mini this fall, the company is apparently preparing to launch the 13-inch Retina-equipped MacBook Pro and an updated version of its iMac computers this fall as well. MacRumors reports that KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a new note Tuesday restating his projection that Apple will release both computers in the September-October timeframe, although he said that their impact will be somewhat limited due to the concurrent releases of the new iPhone and iPad mini. “Consumers’ budgets will transfer to new iOS products after Apple launches them, which suggests that overall MacBook shipments will not grow meaningfully on the 13” Retina MacBook Pro,” wrote Ming-Chi, who also said that supplies of the 13-inch Pro would be “limited due to panel and assembly yield rate issues.”
