iPhone buyers who were looking to buy a SIM-free iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus from Apple are finally in luck. Apple is now selling unlocked handsets on its website. At launch, Apple only sold the iPhone together with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon installment plans, or via its iPhone Upgrade Program.

The SIM-free options let you buy an unlocked iPhone 7 of your choice for the full retail price. However, that doesn’t guarantee a speedy shipment. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are still hard to come by, especially if you’re shopping for Jet Black versions, or for iPhone 7 Plus options.
The iPhone 7 in any color but Jet Black ships in one to three business days, while the Jet Black option will reach your home in three to five weeks.
The iPhone 7 Plus in any color but Jet Black will be delivered in three to four weeks, while the Jet Black phablet will be there by Christmas, as it ships in six to eight weeks.
Pricing starts at $649 for the 32GB iPhone 7, and at $768 for the 32GB iPhone 7 Plus, but you’d be better off paying extra for the 128GB tier — not only will you get significantly more storage, but the memory is also supposed to be faster.
