This past October, Drake released a music video for his hit single ‘Hotline Bling’ and the world would never be the same. In the blink of an eye, Drake’s comical, curious and downright bizarre dance moves in the video sparked a wave of hilarious Internet memes. If you need a quick refresher, you can relive the magic of some of the funniest Drake-themed memes over here.

Over the weekend, Drake appeared as both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. And wasting no time poking fun at himself, the opening monologue featured Drake singing that he’s much more than a meme.

“You don’t love me for me,” Drake said in song, “you just love me for memes.” The video naturally had quite a few cut-aways to some great photos of Drake memes (both Hotline Bling related and otherwise), including a solid one of the Canada born singer just sitting atop the famed Tom’s restaurant from Seinfeld.

And in a purposeful effort to generate a meme about himself while simultaneously singing about how he’s much more than a meme, Drake actually donned a wig for a hot second and did his best Rihanna impression. It was an interesting bit to say the least, but certainly well worth watching in its entirety.

The entire video is embedded below for your viewing enjoyment — trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
