According to one of Engadget’s “trusted sources”, AT&T is forging ahead with plans to have the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 on store shelves in time for week 30 of the fiscal year. In plain English this means we could very well see Sony Ericsson’s first real attempt at releasing a smartphone in co-operation with a U.S. carrier go on sale during the last week of July/first week of August. It seems there’s a possibility that the launch could be either delayed or scrubbed all together depending on AT&T’s general mood, but for the sake of all the neglected Android aficionados on AT&T we’re hoping this isn’t the case.
